Cancellation & Refund Policy

At InspectCars, we want you to be confident when booking an inspection. This policy explains when you can cancel or reschedule a booking and how refunds are processed. It applies to all inspection services booked through our website.
Cancellations
- Before an inspector is assigned: You may cancel free of charge and receive a 100% refund of the amount paid.
- After an inspector is assigned, more than 24 hours before the scheduled slot: You may cancel and receive a refund after deducting a cancellation fee of 25% of the booking amount. This fee covers inspector allocation and scheduling costs.
- Within 24 hours of the scheduled slot, or after the scheduled time has passed: Cancellations are non-refundable, as the inspector's time has been committed on your behalf.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule your inspection to a new date and time slot from your dashboard before the inspection is carried out, subject to inspector availability. There is no charge for rescheduling.
How to Cancel or Reschedule
Log in to your account and use the Cancel or Reschedule option on the relevant booking in your dashboard. You can also contact our support team for assistance.
Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via our payment partner (Razorpay).
- Refunds typically reflect in your account within 5–7 working days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- The cancellation fee (where applicable) is deducted before the refund is initiated.
Service Issues
If an inspection could not be completed due to a fault on our side (for example, our inspector did not arrive), you are entitled to a full refund or a free re-scheduling at your choice. Please report such issues within 48 hours.
