1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the InspectCars website and its services (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using these particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services. Any participation in this service will constitute acceptance of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

InspectCars provides comprehensive on-site vehicle inspection services. Our inspections are based on a 140+ point checklist and are performed by certified inspectors. The service results in a detailed digital report about the vehicle's condition at the time of inspection. This report is based on the physical and visual condition of the vehicle and does not involve dismantling any part of the vehicle.

3. Bookings and Payments

All inspection services must be booked in advance through our website. Payment for the service is collected at the time of booking to confirm your slot. We use a secure third-party payment gateway for all transactions. Prices for our services are subject to change without notice.

4. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds

  • Before an inspector is assigned: You may cancel free of charge and the full amount paid will be refunded.
  • After an inspector is assigned: Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled slot are refunded after deducting a cancellation fee (currently 25% of the booking amount), which covers inspector allocation and scheduling costs.
  • Within 24 hours of the scheduled slot (or after it has passed): Cancellations are non-refundable, as the inspector's slot has been committed on your behalf.
  • Rescheduling: You may reschedule your inspection from your dashboard before the inspection is carried out, subject to inspector availability. No reschedule fee is charged.
  • Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method and typically reflect within 5–7 working days. You can cancel or reschedule any time from your user dashboard.

5. Limitation of Liability

The inspection report provided by InspectCars is a statement of opinion based on the condition of the vehicle at the time of inspection. It is not a warranty or guarantee of the vehicle's future performance or condition. We are not liable for any latent defects which are not discoverable during a normal visual and physical inspection.

InspectCars shall not be liable for any issues, damages, or failures of the vehicle that may arise after the inspection is completed. Our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the inspection service. We are not a party to the transaction between the buyer and seller and do not assume any responsibility for the sale or purchase of the vehicle.

6. User Responsibilities

As a user, you agree to provide accurate and complete information when booking an inspection. You are responsible for ensuring that our inspector has safe and legal access to the vehicle at the scheduled time and location. Any failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the inspection without a refund.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of InspectCars and its licensors. The content, including the inspection report format, logos, and text, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

InspectCars is operated as a sole proprietorship based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
